HUG MEETS: Rachel Barcellona

Rachel is an incredible woman who fearlessly faces all types of crowds from singing at Madison Square Garden or as an international autism advocate. With the support of her parents (and dogs), Rachel fearlessly follows her dreams.

In Rachel’s Words:

Whats your favorite color? Red, because it can make anything look brilliant!

What is your favorite animal? Elephants, lions, they’re both cute!

What is your favorite movie? Moulin Rouge!

What would you do if you won the lottery? I would use the money to pay for college.

If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why? I would be a cat. I love to work out, but cats just laze around all day! It would be nice to not have to worry about anything, just sit back and sleep all day.

What song pumps you up? Recently, Three Days Grace came out with their new song called “The mountain”. It always pumps me up because the lyrics are so inspiring!

What is one of your proudest accomplishments? My proudest accomplishment (So far) is being asked to sing at the Mermaid Theatre in London for an inclusive show called “Autism’s Got Talent”. I love to sing opera and will showcase my talent there.

Who is your idol? I don’t really like to look to someone as an idol, but I am very family oriented and the closest person I look up to is my mom, because she has done a lot for me.

What are your passions? Autism awareness, being healthy, education.

What Inspires You? People who are genuine and love to help others.
